Burk, an independent financial advisor, has been advising clients on strategies designed to help preserve and manage wealth for over 25 years. Burk heads Rosenthal Retirement Planning, LP and is a Registered Principal with LPL Financial, a Registered Broker/Dealer. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and The Planners Network and has earned the following certifications: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, Chartered Financial Consultant, Certified Retirement Counselor and Certified Fund Specialist. After two years with a large financial services firm, Burk established his own firm in 1992.
Burk is especially adept at helping with the special challenges people face during times of transition, such as retirement, divorce or the death of a spouse. The author of numerous financial articles, Burk has become a resource to the media. He has appeared on CNBC, CBS News, ABC News, and served as a retirement specialist on TXA-21 Evening News.He has also hosted a radio show and podcast Your Money with Rosenthal Retirement Planning. Burk lives in Fort Worth and enjoys spending time with his wife, Alisha, and twin daughters, Regan and Natalie. He also enjoys traveling, red wine, muscle cars, old-time radio shows from the 1940s and 50s, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Alisha has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification and the Certified Retirement Counselor certification. Alisha is a Financial Advisor with Rosenthal Retirement Planning, LP and an Investment Advisory Representative with LPL Financial, a Registered Broker/Dealer. She received her degree in English from the University of Texas. In addition to advising clients on securities and insurance matters, Alisha is responsible for monitoring portfolios under the direction of the firms president. Prior to joining Rosenthal in 2006, Alisha held positions in the staffing industry as well as the financial services industry. She is active in the Junior League of Fort Worth. Alisha enjoys spending time with her husband, Burk, her dogs, Sadie, Peggy and Stanley, as well as traveling, exercising and playing the piano.
Stewart is a Financial Advisor with Rosenthal Retirement Planning, LP and an Investment Advisory Representative with LPL Financial, a Registered Broker/Dealer. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Arts degree in Christian Apologetics from Biola University. Stewart initially worked with Rosenthal in the late 1990’s. After many years of working in ministry and social work, he returned to RRP in early 2014 to continue to help people, though now, with their financial and retirement challenges. Stewart heads the risk management and insurance department at Rosenthal. He lives in Fort Worth and enjoys spending time with his two young daughters.
AMY LYNN HAMMOCK

Amy Lynn is a Financial Advisor with Rosenthal Retirement Planning, LP and an Investment Advisory Representative with LPL Financial, a Registered Broker/Dealer. She has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification and the Certified Fund Specialist certification. Amy Lynn received her degree in Economics from the University of Texas in 1992, and she has been advising clients on financial, investment, retirement and insurance matters for over twenty years. Amy Lynn originally joined Rosenthal Retirement Planning in 1999. In late 2007, she decided to move closer to her Cajun roots in Houma, LA, after being away from her family for nearly twenty years. Amy Lynn was blessed to become a new wife and a new, first-time, mom in 2010 at the age of 40. In 2015, Amy Lynn rejoined the Rosenthal team. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and being a dance and soccer mom to her daughter, Marie Katherine. Amy Lynn still resides in Houma, LA and yes, there are alligators on the side of the road and the sound of Zydeco in the air.

Michael is a Financial Advisor with Rosenthal Retirement Planning, LP and an Investment Advisory Representative with LPL Financial, a Registered Broker/Dealer. Michael is a candidate for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation and has earned the Certified Fund Specialist certification. Prior to joining Rosenthal in 2016, he worked at Texas Tech University as an Academic Counselor and an Associate Instructor of Personal Finance courses. Michael taught Introduction to Personal Finance, Counseling and Consumer Credit, and Life Love and Money. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from The Ohio State University. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning, both from Texas Tech University. Michael served in the United States Army for 6 years and obtained the rank of Sergeant. Michael lives in Fort Worth and enjoys spending time with his wife, Dawn, their daughter Anastasia, and their son Augustus. He also enjoys watching movies and sports.
Cory is a Financial Advisor with Rosenthal Retirement Planning, LP. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and a collateral in Economics. Cory joined the Rosenthal Team in 2014 as an intern for three consecutive summers. Cory also served as an intern for a U.S. Senator and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity projects.
Director of Administration
Linda has an extensive professional background in office and financial management, with several years’ experience in education administration. She comes from a military family, and says she was fortunate the U. S. Air Force stationed her father in Texas, where she has lived most of her life. Family is important to Linda and she enjoys spending time with her husband of 23 years, Chris, and their son, Austin. In addition, Linda is really into decorating and loves to cook – she describes feeding her family daily from recipes she finds on Pinterest!
Senior Client Service Representative
Emily joins the Client Service department after having worked at Fidelity Investments where she handled account maintenance and securities trading for premium clients. Previously, she worked for Honda Automotive in the leasing department. Emily graduated from the University of North Texas with a Degree in Business. She lives in Haslet and enjoys traveling and rooting for the Mavs.
GAYLE COWDIN WATSON
Client Service Representative
Gayle Cowdin Watson joined the Rosenthal Retirement Planning Team to serve as a Client Service Representative, after working 30 years in educational administration. Gayle grew up in Dallas, but while earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education from Texas Christian University, she fell in love with Fort Worth and decided to stay. Gayle is married and has two grown children, one dog, and three grandpuppies. She and her husband, Paul, enjoy antiquing, movies, and traveling.
Debbie has worked in an administrative support role for the past 20 years for companies such as Nissan North American and Nestle. She and her family have lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for 26 years. After living in Austin in 2013, Debbie and her husband returned to Fort Worth, where they now call home. She enjoys traveling to new destinations and spending time with her two daughters and two grandchildren.
I am new to the industry and excited to learn and grow, professionally. I most recently worked as the resident care manager for an Assistant Living & Memory Care Community. Prior to that, my husband and I were houseparents at a children’s home. I have been married to my husband, John, for 16 years and we have 3 children. We live in Benbrook and we love to travel any chance we get.

With a background in Insurance, I have experience assisting individuals in preparing for their future. I look forward to using my experiences to continue to help those interested in planning for retirement. I attended Texas State University where I began dating my long-term girlfriend, Jordan. Recreationally, I enjoy golfing and anything that involves Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.
