CFP^®

The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional is an individual who has met the CFP Board's education, examination and experience requirements, has agreed to adhere to high standards of ethical conduct, and completes ongoing certification requirements.

ChFC^®

The Chartered Financial Consultant® professional has taken an eight-course curriculum resulting in one of the most comprehensive financial planning designations available today. All educational courses preparing for the CFP® certification are included plus specialized elective courses in such subjects as the financial system in the economy, financial planning appplications, practical estate planning or additional study in retirement issues.

CRC^®

Certified Retirement Counselor® is a retirement planning professional who has completed a retirement specific certification program that demonstrates a mastery of subject matter, a committment to the retirement planning profession, an adherence to a code of ethics, and completion of continuing education. The CRC® certification program is one of the few professional financial credentials to meet the rigorous governance, exam and recertification standards of the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).

CFS

The Certified Fund Specialist has extensive knowledge in the mutual fund industry. A specialist is able to evaluate and compare financial measurements and benchmarks when constructing a portfolio. Using Modern Portfolio Theory and other selection criteria learned as part of the mutual fund education, including closed-end funds, open-end funds, ETFs, REITs and UITs, a suitable portfolio can be derived.
